A resident of Wellington, when off Soimes Island on a fishing excursion recently, hooked a shark measuring no less than Bft Gin. The monster was success* v fully hauled into the boat, and on being cut open articles too numerous to mention were found, amongst which, however, was a large carving-knife, a Wellington boot, a pair of child's shoes, and portions of a fishing-net.
