THE ELECTORAL ROLL.
We understand that some 250 objections against persons on the Electoral Roll for Manawatu have been sent down by the Registrar, none of which, of course, can be struck off on this occasion, as there is not time to give the necessary notice required by law, so that the Roll will have to remain unpurged until after the election. About 800 new applications have been received during the month for insertion m the Supplementary Roll now being printed. ________»
