Education Board.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Wanganui Board was held yesterday, at which the following members, were preent :— Messrs Sansoii (m the chair), Bate .Tapli n, Shelsoni, Carson, Ross, and Bridge. The Board's Inspector, Mr Vereker Bin* waa also m attendance. ; \ s Appointments Committbb;— The following business was done by tho appointments Committee. :rr ßesignation ..of Miss Campion, assistant teacher at Bulls, accepted. — Application from Miss Agnes. McDonald, Wanganui, applying for a position at Bulls. Forwarded to the Bulls' Committee with recommendation. — Application from Miss Crawford, af Oamaru, applying for appointment. The name is to be forwarded to tho Bulls' Committee.— Letter from Wanganui School Committee . re transfer of Miss "Patterson ;to Palraerston. Agreed to, subject to approval of Committee. Application from Miss Howan, Foxton, applying for position as assistant teacher. Agtoed to, subject, to approval of Committee. The appointment of pupil teacher left to Inspector. — Resignation of Mr W. IS. Stewart, head master at Foxton, accepte-].^ — A circular was ordered to bo ; Bent to all tho {Board's certificAted teachers, to whom the position would be promotion, notifying th© vacancy J—Resignation of Miss Blair accepted.— f-Re-, signation of Miss Mack jn, assistant: mis-; tresß^ accepted.— Application of Miss I)iliph, pupil teacher at Palmerston, to be appointed'an : assistant mistress.
