IN pursuance of " The Regulation of Elections Act, 1881," I, JOSEPH HARRIS, Reluming Officer of the Electoral District of Manawatu, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a "Writ, bearing date the twenty-seventh day of June, 1884, under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an Election will lie held for the return of one qualified person to aerve as Member for the said Electoral District, and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the Town Hall, Palmerston North, at Noon on the 16th day of July, 1884; and that the poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several polling places of the said district on thfc 22nd day of July, 1884.
