Heath Through Drink.
(united press association.) Auckland, August 21. A man named William Madden, has died at Mount Eden Gaol from the effects of excessive drinking. He had been drunk a fortnight. The jury found a verdict of death through drink, and added a rider censuring the barman at the Star Hotel, Otahuhu; for supplying deceased with drink when he was aware that d.c* ceased could not take fopd,
