It has .transpired that Lord Wolseley i£ proceeding to Egypt because General Stephensen has declared that the transport of the proposed Soudan expedition, via the Nile Valley -is not possible. A meeting has been arranged to take place between the German, Austrian, and Russian emperors ; Their/Majestys will be attended by Imperial Chancellors. (Special to the Standard.)
