Attempted Suicides.
(united press, association.) Qamaru, . Sept. 2. A hairdresser, named Robert Gower attempted to poison himself with oxalic acid yesterday. Ho is oat of danger. vVelli^qton, Sept- 2. A young man named Jacob Hanson, employed by the Wellington Meat Company, attempted to commit suicide by hanging himself from a steam pipe m the factory. When cut down he was nearly strangled.
