The Catholic choir meet for special practice this evening, a full attendance is requested. The Wesley an choir meet to practice the cantata " Nativity " this evening.. The Mutual Improvement Society associating in the Wesleyan Hall, held its usual weekly meeting, last evening, when the audience were favoured by 'air | essay by Mr R. Leary in which he assumed the .:' argumentative proposition "That the uncivilized is more uniformly happy than the civilized state."
