Serious Accident.
A young man named Grinrod wak j seriously injured m Otaki on Sunday through his <jfun bursting. Tho hand and wrist were considerably shatter ed, besides there being a severe shock t(^ the system, and much loss of blood. He came to JDr Macintire yesterday, by whom his injuries were promptly and skilfully attended too. The doctor does ; not think his bund will be purmunontly maimed, though it will be always disfigured. The poor fellow is; getting; on ai well as could be expected. . -.-, . . j
