Sir William Wallace, bred by William Anderson, Esq., ELirkmichael, Ayrshire, out of Brisk, by Garibaldi. As a yearling took ..first prize at Maybole, Kirkmichael, and Glasgow, and second at Ayr. As a two-jcar-old, second at Ayr and Glasgow, and also second at the Highland Society's Show held that fyear at Edinburgh ; and when only thi'ee days lauded m Otago took second prize against horses of all ages at the Taieri, although only 2| years old.
