MR ALFRED BUCKLAND'S REPORT.
Fat cattle % were yarded far m excess of requirement. Those sold ranged from 15s fov inferior cows to 2}s for prime steers, but enough for another market remained unsold. Fat sheep were yarded m less numbers than usual, bufe were dull of sale, and many pens remained unsold ; l^d for good ewes ami 2d for wethers were the ruling price. Pigs were m moderate supply only, but shared m a less degree m the falling values.
