Stevens and Gorton's Report.
Bolls, May 6. | At our Awaburi sale yesterday the yards were filled with an excellent class of sheep, and, excepting one pen, all were gold. There 18 a demand for lambs, either shorn, or unshorn, and would meet with a ready sale at any our yards. The entries of cattle were small, though more than advertised. We quote the followiug rates : — Cattle. — Eighteen-month old cattle, mixed f chiefly heifersj, 32s 6d ; weaners, 14s ; 3 r earling heifers, 21s ; fat heifera (small), L 2 10s ; fat cows, L 3 to L 3 15e. Sheep;- I—Store1 — Store sheep (mixed), 5s 7d to 6s 7d ; forward wethers, 9s 3d ; forward ewes, 8s 6d ; shorn lambs, 4s Sd.
