Messrs George Thomas and Co. report produce prices as follow: — "There are no alterations of any moment to note m the leading lines, an 1, therefore, last week's quotations hold good. Oats are firm and active at 2s Id to 2^ 3d ; potatoes also show a. further upward tendency ; flour, guaranteed, £3 to £8 10s ; fowls' wheat, 2s Gd to 2s i)d ; kidney, and round white seed potatoes, £2 10s ; fresh butter, 1* Id to Is 2d ; hams and bacon, BA-i to ( Jd ; cheese (scarce), s£d ; eggs, first-class demand at lO^d per doz. Poultry, firm at following rates — Fowls, 4s ; clucks, 4s 6d ; turkeys, 10s to 12s per pair."
