Fires In Napier.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.") Napier. Tuesday A building formerly ueed as an hotel, known as Smith's hotel, at Makotoku. was destroyed by fire last night. A woman and children occupying the premises, escaped m their night clothes saving nothing. There was a bush fire m the vicinity during the day, but not contiguous. At Wallingford on Friday a five roomed empty house was found by passers by to be burned to the ground.
