Larceny.

A woman was arrested on Saturday night on a charge «f larceny of a roll of calico fiom Mr McDowell's Cash Warehouse. On the previous Saturday night, Mr W. Bentley had missed a valuable jacket, and had informed Constable Mauning of the circumstance. When the theft from Mr McDowell's was discovered, Constable Manning who had had his suspicions all along, immediately applied for aud obtained a search warrant, and m the woman's house found the stolen jacket. The case will be heard at the Police Court y on Wednesday.
