THE AUCKLAND AMMUNITION.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, Monday. Continued experiments with the Auckland ammunition at long ranges show that the colonial cartridge are practically now quite as good as the imported ones. The shooting varied from four points m their favour, and three worse than Woolwich amunitioa The cartridge cases cost one third more than English, but unlike the latter they can bs used again and again.
