The Council met at 2.30,

It was decided to insist upon the amendments mndo by tho Council in the Municipal Coporationsßill.

In connection with tho Industrial ConcSiation and Arbiration Bill and Trading Stamps Abolition and Discount Stamps Issue Bill, managers were appointed to cenfer on both Bills.

The New Zealand Institute oF Survoyecs and Board of Examiners Bill was read a second time.

The Public Works Act Amendment Bill was committed, progress being reported.

Tho Public Works Acts Amendment Bill, New Zealand Institute of Surveyors and Maori Counsels Bills passed Committee, were read a third time, and passed.
