ALLEGED ASSAULT.

ACCUSED REMANDED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Dec. 3. Joseph Andre, aged 53, was charged at the Police Court that on December 2 he assaulted Geocgo Cargill, causing actual bodily harm. Sergeant Edwards said that Cargill was stabbed and had five stitches put in his groin. It would not be said that it was accidental, but there might have been some provocation. Accused was remanded in bail of £25.
