HUGE CLAIM
MILLIONS OF POUNDS INVOLVED LAND IN HEART OF SYDNEY. ROYAL GRANT ALLEGED. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received December 4, 9.30 a.m. SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 3. The grandchidren of Robert Baton, who allege that Mr Paton was granted 160 acres of land in 1835 in what is now th© heart of Sydney, have commissioned lawyers to establish their heirship to the property which is now estimated to b© worth 30,000,000 dollars. Mr Baton’s heirs claim that he was given a Royal grant in recognition of his invention of a method of ridding Sydney harbour of dangerous rocks. Eight grandchildren live in California. and two, Mr J.
