SCREEN STAR’S TROUBLE.
DISCORD IN CHAPLIN HOME. NEW YORK, Dec. 3. AH A. L. Reeves, general manager for tho Charles Chaplin Studio at Los Angeles, said that lie was authorised to announce that the comedian wiuld not be responsible for further debts contracted by liis wife, who formerly was Lita Grey. Airs Chaplin and her two sons are living with the grandparents. She announced that she did not intend to return to her husband’s man-don, and left following a disagreement on Alonday evening.—A. and N.Z. cable.
