FIRE AT LEVIN.
LARGE RESIDENCE DESTROYED. OWNER A LOCAL RESIDENT. Per Press Association. LEVIN, Dec. 4. A fire at 1.30 this morning destroyed a fifteen-roomed residence at Ihakara, owned by Mrs J. Potts, of Palmerston North, and occupied by B. E. Russell, a sharemilker. The cause of the outbreak is not known. The insurances are £2OOO on tho house, £350 on the furniture and £9O on the piano.
