HAWKE CUP MATCH

The Hawke Cup match was continued this morning in fine weather. The wicket was in good order. Wanganui, with four wickets down for 93, resumed the second innings and at the luncheon adjournment had scored 208 for five wickets —Bernau (not out) 108, Treadwell, C. Cole, b Clark, 47.

Mrs R. T. Jaggard and Miss Wallace were at the Rotary Club luncheon this afternoon accorded votes of thanks for assistance rendered by them on the occasion of the entertainment 'by Rotarians of inmates of All Saints’ and Willard Homes for children.
