ROME, Dec. 4. Armando Valenta, an Italian, walked 20 kilometres in 1 hour 39 minutes 20 2-5 seconds, beating the world’s record, held by the Dane, Peterson, 1 hour 39 minutes 22 seconds.—A. and N.Z. cable.
