FARMER’S TROUBLE.
EVIDENCE AT THE INQUEST. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Dec. C. The body found with a gun alongside in an old gumfield near Milford on Friday was identified as Charles Robert Hewott, aged 63, of Cambridge. A son in, evidence, stated that he last saw liis father alive on September 30. He was then in financial difficulties over a farm he had abandoned to the mortgagees. The inquest was adjourned.
