THAMES BRIDGE.
ROYAL COMMISSION’S REPORT.
Received December 6, 9.20 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 5. The Royal Commission on the Thames bridges is unanimously in favour of preserving Waterloo bridge, but adapting it to present needs. It is admitted that strengthening and widening it will be expensive.—A. and N.Z. cable.
