Per Press Association. MASTERTON, Dec. 5. In the inter-provincial tennis match Hawke’s Bay beat Wairarapa by 21 matches to 11.
VICTORIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS. MELBOURNE, Dec. 5. The finals in the Victorian lawn tennis championships resulted as fojlow: Women’s singles: Miss Boyd beat Miss Cox 6—3, 6—l. Mixed doubles: Hawkes and Miss Boyd beat Wertheim and Miss Cox 6—2, 6—o. Men’s singles: Patterson beat Crawford 4—6, 6—3, 6—4, 6—4. Women’s doubles: Mrs Harper and Miss Boyd beat Mrs O’Hara Wood and Miss Le Messurier 7—5, 6—2.
Men’s doubles: Crawford and Willard beat Patterson and' Hawkes 4—6, 6—4, I—6, 6—3, 6—3.—Press Association:
