Tlie town clerk said that if an application was made for the erection of a butcher’s shop in the residential area it could not bo refused if there was not a restrictive by-law.
The Alayor: The whole object is to have a by-law so that it can, if necessary, be enforced. A councillor: it’s all right now. The Alayor: How would you like a butcher’s shop next to your place P The query went unanswered and the report was then adopted by the council.
