CANADIAN' CONFEDERATION. DISTINGUISHED VISITORS EXPECTED. PRINCE AND BRITISH PREMIER, (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received December 7, 9.20 a.m. OTTAWA, Dec. 6. It is understood here that the Prince of Wales and the Premier, Mr Baldwin, have accepted invitations to participate in the diamond jubilee celebration of the confederation to be observed throughout Canada beginning on July 1, 1927. Although both were unable to make definite engagements so far ahead, they expressed the hope to come to Canada on the occasion.—A. and N.Z. cable.
