CAUGHT BY AVALANCHE.

PARTY ON MT. ROLLESTON. DOCTOR RECEIVES INJURIES. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 6. While a party was climbing Mount Rolleston yesterday they were caught by an avalancho and Doctor Hilgendorf, of Lincoln College, received injuries. Ho is now at Springfield under medical care. Later. Dr. Hilgendorf was the only one injured and he expects to be about again in a few days. Tlie fall was caused by loose snow collapsing under his weight ana precipitating him several hundreds of feet.
