Commenting on Macartney’s score of ]j26 against the Country Eleven at the Sydney Cricket Ground to-day, the Daily Sketch says: “Australia may need younger test players, but, she will be lucky if she discovers any possessing half the genius of the ‘Governor-Gen-eral.’ ”
