AUSTRALIAN STAMPS.
SPECIAL ISSUE TO BE MADE. Received December 9, 12.15 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 9. A special issue of 30,000,000 stamps of various denominations will be made to commemorate the opening of the Commonwealth Parliament at Canberra by the Duke of York. The issue will be for one week only from May 9. It is estimated that 3,000,000 philatelists will require specimens.—Press Association.
