MURULLA DISASTER.

DRIVER AND GUARD ACQUITTED JUDGE AGREES WITH VERDICT. Dec. 8. Turner and Davies, the driver and guard of the goods train concerned in the Murulla disaster, were acquitted. Tire Judge stated that he entirely agreed with the verdict. —Press Association.

Four wagons became detached from a goods train at Murulla station on September 13, ran down an incline, and collided with a mail train, 27 people being killed. The engine-driver and the guard of the goods train were charged with manslaughter.
