LICENSING COMMITTEE.

OROUA QUARTERLY MEETING

[Special to “Standard.”] FEILDING, Dec. 10.

The adjourned quarterly meeting of the Oroua Licensing Committee was held this morning, Messrs T. Watson, J. W. Bramwell, E. Goodbeliere (chairman), P. Guy and H. G, Booth being on the Bench.

Renewals of licenses were granted unconditionally in respect of the Apiti and Cheltenham Hotels.

Sergeant Cahill, for the police, reported favourably on the condition of the hotels throughout tho district, and the meeting then closed.
