FREEZING DISPUTE
ALLIANCE OF LABOUR
NO-CONFIDENCE VOTED.
Per Press Association. GISBORNE, Dec. 10. It is reported that a meeting of the Freezing Workers’ Union, by two to one, passed a vote of no-confidence in tho Alliance of Labour, dissatisfaction being general at tho handling of the recent dispute. Further dissatisfaction exists among the old unionists at their exclusion from the works. Tho erstwhile volunteers have joined the union, and had their engagements continued, with the result that only a small proportion of the regular hands are able to secure employment.
