DRIVERS IN TROUBLE.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Sept. 9. Two pleas by counsel oii behalf of clients who had pleaded guilty to being drunk while in charge of cars were successful before Mr T. B. McNeil, S.M., to-day. A fine of £2O was Imposed on William Barr Nattrass Burgess, aged 42, and Leslie Dunn, aged 00, was fined £lO. It was stated in both cases that defendants wo.uld lose their livelihood if the licenses were cancelled.
