LONGBURN SCHOOL.

MEETING OF COMMITTEE,

A meeting of the Longburn School Committee was held on Monday evening, Mr. Weddell being in the chair. There were also present Messrs. Brockliss, Oliver, Meehan, Mahoney and Hearle. The secretary was instructed to write to the Palmerston North Primary Schools’ Association intimating that the committee supported the proposal to lengthen the school vacation to a period in lino with that granted to secondary scholars. Accounts amounting to £l2 5s 9d were passed for payment.
