LINTON RIFLE CLUB.

With only shoot to go for the club championship and handicap series by the Linton Rifle Club, things are getting very interesting as there is only a margin of six points between the first seven men, among whom are several new membeis, which-‘speaks well for the coaching they have had at the hands of Mr J. Dalziel. The following are Monday evening's scores which were also for another spoon competition: —F. Lewis 68, 70, 138; H. Alltree 68, 69, 137; W. Salmon 69, 68, 137; J. McAvinue 67, 69, 136; H. Barlow 66, 69, 135; H. Wagstaff 67, 68. 135; H. S. Byers, 67, 67, 134; H. Hosking 68, 66, 134; J. Taylor 65, 68, 133; J: Craig 67, 66, 133; B. S. Salmons 66, 66, 132.
