lONIC TO THE RESCUE
FRENCH SAILOR TREATED.
(United Service.) Received September 10, 11.85 a.m. LONDON. Sept. 9. The liner lonic, which has arrived from Wellington. New Zealand, received when in mid-ocean a wireless appeal for medical aid from the French steamer Germaine. The surgeon of the lonic treated a seaman for wounds caused by an explosion, and advised the captain of the Germaine to land the patient at Bermuda.
