NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Palmerston North Borough Council, held on Monday, the 9th day of September, 1929, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the Special Meeting of the Council to he held on Monday, the 14th day of October, 1929, at' 7.30 p.m., at tho Council Chambers, the Square, Palferston North:— That the Council sell ALL THAT piece of land situated in the Town of Palmerston North, containing 1 acre 1 rood (more or less), being Section 852 on the plan of the said town, and being the whole of the land comprised in Certificates of Title, volume 152, folio 148, and volume 152, folio 149 (Wellington Registry) at a price not being less than £6O per foot frontage of the said land to Church Street, on the following terms and conditions:— 1. That tenders be called for the purchase of the said land by advertisement. 2. That a deposit of £IOO accompany tender. 3. The purchase to be completed and balance of purchase money paid within one month from date of acceptance of tender. 4. The purchaser to take the property subject to the existing tenancy created by a certain Deed of Lease dated the 3rd day of August, 1927, between the Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Palmerston North as Lessors of the one part and H. N. Suisted and another as Lessees of the other part. 5. Form of tender to be prepared by the Borough Solicitors and to contain usual provisions for the protection of the Council as vendor. J. R.
