SERVICE IN PALESTINE.
LONDON SPECIALS TO GO. (United Service). LONDON, Sept. 9. A picked body of a hundred ex-ser-vice men, who were recently recruited in London, are going to Palestine for special service. They will be drafted into the British section of the Palestine Police, which is composed of British, Jews and Arabs. The Daily News’s Jerusalem correspondent states: “Bodies are being exhumed at Hebron with a view to obtaining definite evidence of alleged Arab atrocities.
“Naval detachments have replaced the Devons at Gliaza and Jaffa. The aircraft-carrier Courageous is leaving for Malta.”
