Received September 12, 9.5 a.m. TOKIO, Sept. 11. A most severe typhoon was experienced yesterday. Seventy-five thousand houses were flooded by the overflowing of rivers. At Tokio sailors were blown overboard from a battleship and several were drowned. Great damage is reported from Yokosuka. A message from Yokohama states that a coastal steamer was wrecked. It is feared that the entire crew have been lost.
