CRICKET OVERSEAS.
INVITATION TO WEST INDIES.
MATCHES IN NEW ZEALAND. Received Septemebr 13, 11 a.m. MELBOURNE, Sept. 13. The Cricket Board of Control confirmed the Test dates for the tour of England in 1930, and decided to extend an invitation to the West Indies Association to send a team to Australia in 1930-31, the team to play games also in New Zealand.
The decision on the question of players writing for the Press was deferred. The manager of the Australian Test team and the selectors will be appointed to-day.
