PLOUGHMAN INJURED.
ACCIDENT NEAR FOXTON. While engaged in ploughing operations near Foxton to-day, Mr James Steel, aged 25 years, had occasion to go to the head of his team to straighten them up. One of the horses, a young animal, lifted its head suddenly, striking Mr Steel a severe blow on the head. He lost consciousness and was removed to the Hospital. He is suffering from concussion, but his condition is not serious.
