BULLS
MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING.
(From Our Own Correspondent). BULLS, Sept, 12. Ohakea and R.S.A. Miniature Riflo Clubs met on Tuesday evening in. Chile and Remington and M.M.R.A. competitions, Ohakea winning in .each by seven points. Keen interest was taken in tho meeting of these clubs, and close going was a feature of the matches, every point being hard fought for, the slightest error of judgment on either side being fatal. G. Findlay (R.S.A.) had the distinction of registering a double “possible,” and was well supported by R. A. Jones, who only dropped one point on the two ranges. K. Lumsden, J. Simpson and A. Vile, all of Ohakea, were in good form also, each missing the double “possible” by single points. In tho B grade great scores were recorded, the winning team putting on 809, which is a Manawatu record, beating their previous record of 808 against Awahuri.
