NON-STOP FLIGHTS.

NEW TYPE OF CRAFT. (Times Cables.) LONDON, Sept. 12. In response to the Air Ministry’s invitation the Blackburn Aeroplane Company has submitted designs of a. new type of flying-boat to carry 50 passengers on a non-stop flight of 1000 miles.

It is believed that the Ministry intends to use boats of the type in the London to South Africa and Australia services, but it is not at present known now many will bo ordered. They will be fitted with six Rolls-Royce engines of 3000 horse-power.
