CHILDREN STRIKE
MOTHERS PICKET SCHOOLS. London school children have now contracted a strike germ, and, not to be outdone, are doing the thing properly, complete with pickets and a gitators_ The picket role is being fiHed by the mothers, while the Puente generally are the agitators. At least 2000 London school children are involved m the “strike,” initiated by their parents, who object to the transfer of their children to different schools, involv'ng lonrr C r journeys from home. The motlmrs, wearing cards inscribed, ‘ Parents Protest Committee,” have posted thernselves outside the school gates, to onsure that there shall bo no black I education.
