OPTIMISTS’ CLUB.
Mr J. C. Woods presided over the weekly luncheon of the Y.M.C.A. Optimists’ Club yesterday. The speaker was Mr R. L. C. Aitchison, who gave an address on chemistry. Good wishes were extended by the club to Mr I. Gerrand who is to be married shortly. • The resignation of Mr C. Rumble was accepted with regret and he was cordially thanked, for his services as an office-holder.
