FATAL INJURIES.

CAR STRIKES TELEGRAPH POLE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 15. Eileen Parkinson, aged 27, of Auckland, and Alfred Ernest Clark, of Otahuhu, reecived fatal injuries when a motor-car driven by H. Biddalph, of Otahuhu, struck a telegraph pole on the side of the road when proceeding to the city on Saturday night. Sir Clark sustained grave head injuries and was killed outright. Miss Parkinson sustained a fractured skull and died in hospital. The side of the car was. torn out. The two occupants of the front seat escaped injury.
