REFORM PARTY.

READY for next election, CONFIDENCE OF LEADER. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 16. Reform Party supporters, representing all parts of the Auckland province, attended the opening of the new headquarters of the Auckland division of the Political Reform League by the Leader of the Opposition (Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates). In declaring the rooms open, Mr Coates spoke of the renewed growth of the Reform movement all over the Dominion and the determination of its supporters to work for victory when, the time came. He hoped that the establishment of new headquarters in Auckland was only the beginning of the onrush of supporters that should carry everything before it. He appealed to all present to gather their friends into the movement—the more the better. In a vigorous speech, Mr Coates said that the Reform Party was ready to face the election when the time came. “We are not out to create chaos in the country, but when the election comes we will be ready anytime we are called upon.” After attacking in the strongest terms the Government interference with main highways finance and its alleged attempts to malign the late Administration, Mr Coates declared that there would be a determined attempt to carry the Reform banner to victory.
