MUNICIPAL BUSES.

TRAFFIC IN AUGUST. The municipal buses carried 45,353 passengers and earned a total revenue of £550 2s 2d during August, according to a report submitted to the Borough Council last evening by the manager (Mr P. U. Patton). The revenue per bus mile was 9.Sd. There were decreases of 3675 in the number of passengers carried and £75 Is Id in tlx3 revenue earned, compared with the corresponding period of last year.
